His hand carved design features a two-tone color arrangement which allows the beautiful grain of the local Mango Wood to come through. Mango Wood is a local and sustainable wood that grows abundantly in Thailand. This unique piece measures 13 inches long by 6 inches wide. A truly beautiful serving platter that will add a natural and exotic touch of Thailand to any table setting. ARTISAN STORY: Thanat has been drawing inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of his homeland to express his artistic talents for nearly ten years. He has a small workshop in Northern Thailand, where he and other family members practice their craftsmanship. At his workshop, only manual tools are used which helps achieve finely detailed work and artistry.
